Patent Management Specialist (f/m)

Immediate start date

Your responsibilities:

  • support in patent activities e.g. technical searches in databases, screening of documents, seek for requested information items and others
  • perform FTO (freedom to operate) analysis for product and process development projects
  • file technical documents for patent oppositions and other legal patent cases
  • identify patent possibilities for FPP and UFP
  • establish and operate a library for IP relevant industrial documents and product samples for both paper BUs
  • establish and develop a detailed FPP internal product database incl. technical specification and competitors info
  • perform patent monitoring / competitor surveillance tasks
  • perform patent related administration work

Our requirements:

  • interest for technical contents
  • systematic and well-organised style of working
  • responsible-minded
  • good communication skills
  • limited travel readiness (mainly Austria and Europe)

Languages:

  • German and English (oral and written) - very good level

Education:

  • technical engineering/natural sciences with preference for pulp and paper technology
  • university degree level

Experience:

  • some years of experience in pulp and paper industry/packaging industry (preferred)
  • some years of experience in IP (paper, additives supplier) (preferred)
  • from working experience 2 years+ in business

Immediate start date

Ref. Austrian "Bundes-Gleichbehandlungsgesetz": The position is subject to the Austrian collective agreement of the "Papierindustrie" with a legal minimum wage of EUR 44,142.14 gross/year on a full-time basis plus overpayment. The overpayment is determined by the qualification of the jobholder.
