We are looking for a Regional Demand Manager to join the Supply Chain Team at BI's site in Vienna as of 01.01.2020.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Prepare, plan and execute independently demand planning and supply replenishment for assigned SKUs and businesses to ensure compliant product supply to meet market demands in the OPUs and to avoid obsolete inventories
  • Ensure adequate inventory levels at the OPU 3PL in adherence with demand planning variables, particularly defined safety stocks, DOIf targets, lot size abidance, artwork changes, intercompany shipment calendars
  • Ensure correctness of demand planning parameters in case of VMI/CMI/Central MRP (e.g. min/max inventory levels, local leadtimes, safety days of supply, EVTs)
  • Acts as single contact point for manufacturing sites/CMOs/global functions
  • Actively participates in the S&OP cycle with the OPUs/Clusters, supervising the creation of a robust demand forecast at SKU/monthly level across the operating horizon, by working closely with business operation and marketing and sales
  • Business partnering at regional level for assigned SKU portfolio
  • Coaching local counterparts in assigned product portfolio and manufacturing sites specifics
  • Identify, flag and address risks and opportunities and make recommendations for prioritization and allocations

Requirements

  • Bachelor degree or equivalent: business administration or economics - specialization in logistics/supply chain management combined with profound working experience in SCM, preferably within demand/replenishment planning in pharmaceutical/OTC/FMCG industries
  • In-depth understanding of and/or experience in supply chain management and systems
  • High level of problem solving capabilities and ability to identify/execute pragmatic solutions
  • Strong ability to prioritize with a high sense of urgency
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to manage complexity whilst being comfortable with ambiguity
  • Excellent analytical capabilities to interpret information and KPIs
  • Structured working style with attention to detail and high level of accuracy
  • Proficient in English (German of advantage)

For this position we offer an interesting salary package considering your expertise and personal competencies as well as your professional experience. We are obliged by law to state the minimum salary according to the collective agreement, which amounts to EUR 36,433.04 gross per year (full-time) for this position, whereby an overpayment is possible.
