The International Media Manager is part of the International Advertising team which develops the creative campaigns and creates the media strategies for all markets. In this role, you´ll be responsible for driving efficiency and quality in the service of all our media agencies globally in 95 markets. In addition, you´ll ensure the best talent at the best cost in a fast-changing media environment to meet the Red Bull business objectives. You´ll run the annual media agency evaluations and guide countries through media agency pitches that lead to stronger agency partnerships. Overall, you´ll be successful when increasing value creation for our media budgets and holding Red Bull's media agency partners accountable for the agreed deals, and at the same time ensuring access to best industry media agency talent.

  • AGENCY SELECTION & BENCHMARKING

As International Media Manager, you´ll provide best in class media agency pitch workflow, including HQ guidance and approval of agency choices in all local pitches. You´ll ensure excellent cost benchmarking and commitment tracking of value creation, state-of-the art negotiation preparation. In addition, you´ll be responsible for the briefings of local players and aim for win-win partnership agreements with new agencies.

  • REVIEW & OPTIMIZE

To secure best media agency cost and transparency in all markets is part of your responsibilities. Furthermore, you´ll ensure annual media roadmap of standard deliverables for agencies is supplied such as post campaign reporting, media reviews, buying reviews and recommendations, inflation mitigation. Moreover, you´ll lead global media agency evaluation content and analysis. You´ll also outline areas of media buying optimization at scale.

  • BUILD PARTNERSHIPS & CAPABILITIES

In this role, you´ll engage in global partnerships with agency account leaders for Red Bull to drive cross-country best practice sharing, training and capability building, roll-out of Red Bull media buying and planning capabilities, agency contracts consistency and quality, issue resolutions etc…

Your experience includes:

(proven performance in)

Minimum 3 years' work experience either as Media Manager on client side or at a media agency including pitch experience and media buying

Comprehensive knowledge, skills and experience in all areas of media with a focus on TV and digital media

Expertise in media strategy, media planning and buying, ad tech and FMCG brand marketing

Media budget management experience

Effective negotiation and interpersonal skills

Ability to focus and follow through on priorities and deliver quality results

An entrepreneurial 'can-do' attitude facilitated by continuous learning and application of appropriate 'best practices'

  • University Degree in marketing, business, or similar field
  • English spoken and written fluency required, German is an advantage

Due to legal reasons we are obliged to disclose the minimum salary according to the collective agreement for this position, which is EUR 1643 gross per month. However, our attractive compensation package is based on market-oriented salaries and is therefore significantly above the stated minimum salary.
