Data Analyst - Installed Base (m/f)

The Data Analyst - Installed Base for the INNIO Jenbacher team will have responsibility over maintenance of the Jenbacher Gas Engines Installed Base database. In this role, you will work cross functionally both INNIO internal (service, sales, manufacturing etc.) and with external channel partners, distributors and packagers to provide up-to-date information on engines in the current Jenbacher fleet. This information will be used to identify engine upgrade opportunities, accurately forecast service sales and assist in analyzing market data.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Be responsible for the timely update of installed base data
  • Manage and further develop relationships with the INNIO regional service departments and channel partners to promote collaborative data sharing
  • Develop and maintain business process descriptions and work instructions
  • Act as main point of contact for all Jenbacher Installed Base data-related requests
  • Be an expert user of Oracle and other software tools which are used to capture installed base data; support development and maintenance of tools which will be used to maintain and provide the data in collaboration with channel partners, distributors and customers
  • Own Installed Base data cleaning and quality checks
  • Coach and train third party Installed Base data suppliers and conduct regular data reviews and audits
  • Pro-actively seek enhancement of Installed Base system to improve business impact
  • Participate in overall INNIO Installed Base management team initiatives and attends regular reviews
  • Own the "Installed Base data warehouse" in terms of data model, table structure, interfaces, further developments of content and functionality,
  • Own Installed Base related charts, reports and dashboards


  • Vocational secondary school (HAK/HTL/Matura)
  • And / or several years of experience in a similar field of activity in the technical working environment
  • Excellent communication skills, ability to work in cross functional teams and to build sustainable professional relationships
  • Project management and documentation skills
  • Good knowledge in Microsoft Excel, familiarity with MS PowerPoint and MS Word
  • Good knowledge in Tableau
  • Familiarity with statistical analysis tools
  • Fluent in English

The base pay is composed of the amount according to the Austrian collective agreement which is at least EUR 2883,03 gross per month (x 14) and an overpayment depending on your qualifications and experience.
