Duties & Responsibilities

  • As Information Protection (IP) & Security Officer you ensure an appropriate level of IP & Security for the corporation and that we always comply with the security regulations and requirements
  • This includes the enforcement of security controls in order to protect our information assets and intellectual property
  • You guide and consult colleagues in business and functional areas to understand and establish acceptable levels of risk within the respective location/region
  • You coordinate all IP & Security relevant topics within the RCV region (30+ countries)
  • You contribute your expertise to work on the creation of a global IP & Security strategy and facilitate a consistent and effective implementation
  • Throughout the company, you drive IP & Security awareness, activities and behavior through regional representation and trainings in proximity to the business partners
  • As an expert for IT Security you review new technical solutions and IT systems including cloud initiatives, and evaluate their security risks and propose mitigation measures
  • You evaluate potential external BI partners to ensure BI proprietary information does not become subject to unacceptable risk through business arrangements

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in IT or equivalent
  • Profound IT Security knowledge and experience including ISO27001/002, NIST, Security Risk Management, Information Classification (GRC), Cloud Risk Assessments and frameworks (CSA, CCM)
  • Technical knowledge of and experience with Information Security architecture and systems including best practices for all areas of Information Security
  • Experienced in security technology such as next generation firewall, advanced persistent threat detection, mobile device management, multi factor authentication, CERT and SOC processes
  • Excellent communications skills to convey information security-related concepts to a broad range of technical and non-technical staff
  • Basic IT Legal background would be appreciated as well as CISM or CISSP certification
  • Fluent in German and English with work experience in global, multicultural and virtual teams

We offer an attractive salary package in line with your qualification, experience and individual competencies. The base pay is composed of a market oriented excess payment and the respective amount according to the Austrian collective agreement (at least EUR 60,000 gross per year/full-time).
