People Development Manager (f/m) - Maternity cover

Your responsibilities:

In this role, you will be responsible for working with the Centre of Excellence People Development team on various projects and tasks in the area of international people development. The focus will be international people development including creating new standards, policies, processes and guidelines. You will act as a strategic partner and a consultant focused on developing effective, high-impact people solutions. In this role, you should be passionate about helping people learn and grow and about bringing development opportunities to a global audience. You will report directly to the Group Head of People Development and you will work closely with senior leaders as well as HR Managers and Business Partners.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • setting and implementing tools, processes and methods to shape the future capabilities in terms of talent management, performance management, recruiting and learning and development for our workforce
  • creating, defining and setting up international people development guidelines, processes and policies
  • maintain effective communication with internal stakeholders to ensure that learning opportunities and talent initiatives are shared across the organization
  • responsible for the roll-out and further development of our international talent management process
  • you bring your ideas and implement trends of new ways of learning to enable constant, self-driven learning content ensuring that learning is engaging, fun and efficient
  • working on the Group recruiting framework to support the outstanding candidate experience as well as internal talent deployment
  • Project stream lead for the international roll-out of our new Learning Management System
  • organisation and planning of the international First Line Manager program worldwide and further upcoming projects with the Mondi Academy
  • participation in internal development centres
  • implementing and overseeing a talent management pool for our internal people development
  • overall responsibility for our global mentoring processes
  • developing and implementing different learning strategies and programs

Our requirements:

  • knowledge of international HR and people development processes, tools and trends
  • work experience in a fast-paced and multicultural environment
  • strong interpersonal and active listening skills, and comfortable communicating with a variety of employees and leaders at all levels
  • high interest in HR & Learning Trends and their implementation
  • experiences in a Learning Management System of advantage
  • proficient with MS Office (including PowerPoint)

Languages:

  • excellent written and verbal skills to effectively communicate in English

Education:

  • university degree (Master's degree or equivalent) other related field or a combination of education and experience

Experience:

  • more than 5 years of professional expert experience in HR, ideally experience in people development of an international organisation
  • track record of building, implementing and measuring talent and learning programs on a global scale in a geographically spread organization
  • strong project management skills and the ability to drive initiatives from inception to completion
  • understanding of diversity and inclusiveness in the workplace and different learning styles

Immediate start date

Ref. Austrian "Bundes-Gleichbehandlungsgesetz": The position is subject to the Austrian collective agreement of the "Papierverarbeitende Industrie" with a legal minimum wage of EUR 44,100.00 gross/year on a full-time basis plus overpayment. The overpayment is determined by the qualification of the jobholder.
