Underwriting Assistant (m/f/d)

What will your essential responsibilities include?

  • Providing support to the Underwriters and ensure that the administrative processes for the end to end policy lifecycle are run efficiently and at a high quality to serve internal and external clients
  • Responsible for the implementation of international insurance solutions and correspond with brokers and customers as well as with AXA XL - and worldwide network partners
  • Ensure that the administrative processes of the international insurance programs are run efficiently and that the respective local policies are issued at a high quality
  • Monitoring of the premium flows for the co-insurers and reinsurers
  • Timely implementation of new and renewed accounts according to the processing rules and guidelines (incl. system data entries)
  • Timely issuance of the Policy Documents (incl. invoice in co-operation with credit-control). Control implementation progresses of an account globally and take appropriate actions
  • Premium collection monitoring of accounts globally and take appropriate actions
  • Proactively foster positive relationship with clients and brokers to attain a comprehensive understanding of their needs
  • Ensure high data quality of the portfolio and take corrective measures if necessary

You will report to the Team Lead Underwriting Services.

We're looking for someone who has these abilities and skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in business or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Minimum 2+ years in the insurance industry. Knowledge of underwriting processes is a plus
  • Fluent Czech and English Skills (both spoken and written), additional German skills is a plus
  • Very good MS Office knowledge, especially excellent MS Excel knowledge
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Pro-active and service committed attitude.
  • Ability to keep focus in stressful situations
  • Customer- and service-oriented personality
  • Interest in an international work environment
  • Quick-wittedness, solution-oriented and great sense of collaboration

The minimum gross annual salary amounts to EUR 45.000,00. Depending on skills and specific experience, over-payment is possible.
