Arnold & Richter Cine Technik (ARRI) is a global company within the motion picture media industry, employing around 1,500 staff worldwide. ARRI's business unit Camera Systems with its development sites in Vienna and Munich focuses on the development, production and marketing of camera systems and accessories for the film and television industry. Senior UI Developer (m/w/d) Java

Job description:

  • You will be responsible for the creative new development and further development of existing products in the field of camera systems.
  • You will design and further develop frameworks for GUI modeling and code generation, GUI engines and web apps for camera control.
  • In your function, you will use the GUI frameworks to create and maintain high-performance and robust user interfaces in close collaboration with the Interaction Design team.
  • You will implement functional tests for ARRI camera systems, perform error analyses, debugging and troubleshooting and document all processes and tests in a comprehensible manner.
  • In addition, you will contribute your own ideas for the continuous improvement of software quality.

Requirements:

  • You have successfully completed your studies in computer science or your training in IT or electronics at a technical college, a university of applied sciences, or similar.
  • You have experience in the Eclipse Ecosystem and in code generation (for example Xtext).
  • You are an expert in object-oriented design and development and have experience in agile development processes (Scrum).
  • Profound knowledge of Java, JavaScript, HTML and CSS distinguish you
  • You have a good technical background and preferably knowledge of Angular, React, Vue.js as well as basic knowledge of C++ and Qt.
  • Personally, you are characterized by a good technical understanding, a high level of teamwork, resilience, a structured way of working, and strong communication skills.
  • Very good English skills complete your profile, German skills are additionally beneficial.
