Awesome Senior DevOps Engineer (Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift)

full-time: 38,5 hours/week

As part of the DevOps team your responsibility is to maintain production-side operations ensuring that our products maintain the highest level of quality, security, availability and scalability of a platform with around 700.000 pageviews per day and spikes when large events take place. Our technologies are based on open source technologies and developed and managed by Agile Kanban methodologies. The DevOps team is responsible for a variety of interesting and hot domains - from integration of the latest technologies to the optimization of production environments.

Your mission:

  • Improve our Docker and OpenShift (Kubernetes) based stack
  • Improve deployment procedures on our new OpenShift infrastructure
  • Add extensive monitoring for our existing and new systems
  • Optimize our infrastructure
  • Maintain continuous integration and delivery (Codeship)
  • Automate maintenance tasks that are still performed manually
  • Plan new features, compile disaster-recovery procedures
  • Keep our systems up and running

Your profile:

  • 5 years working on Linux
  • 4 years working on production systems
  • Strong hands on experience with Kubernetes & Docker (our stack
  • OpenShift experience of value
  • Golang experience of value
  • High ability to investigate new technological areas (platforms, devices, applications, etc.) and understand them in depth through rapid self-learning
  • Automating complex tasks, handling potential failures
  • Eagerness to learn and harness new technologies
  • Team player

Starting immediately!

We offer a competitive salary considerably above the Austrian Collective Agreement between EUR 55.000 - EUR 62.000 gross per year depending on your qualifications and the outcome of our exciting interview.
