UNIQA Digital Team is looking for an experienced and passionate cloud specialist, who is able to define our future cloud architecture and lead its implementation at the same time. In this role, you will take responsibility to solve the challenges of supporting digital products as well as data science services deployment and maintenance in the cloud. Senior Cloud Specialist (m/f)

Your main responsibilities

  • Design cloud architecture for production deployment of services, including in-house data-driven solutions
  • Align business requirements with the available IaaS/PaaS/SaaS offerings
  • Set up the cloud infrastructure together with UNIQA data science and digital product teams
  • Lead the improvements of cloud design in close contact with cloud provider representatives
  • Administrate and maintain cloud infrastructure
  • Set up ETL tools, configure ETL jobs and maintain regular data loading process
  • Communicate with internal IT security on the cloud setup
  • Communicate with data privacy team on the security of data storage and data processing

Your qualification

  • General expertise in IaaS, PaaS and SaaS together with practical experience of setting up and administrating cloud resources (Azure, AWS)
  • Advanced user of Linux and Bash
  • Experience with container technologies and Kubernetes administration
  • Advanced user of Git, and CI/CD tools (Gitlab, Gitlab CI, Jenkins incl. Pipelines)
  • Database administration skills for postgreSQL, MongoDB, DynamoDB / CosmosDB
  • Basic skills in SQL, Python and JS
  • Basic experience with ETL tools, such as Airflow or Luigi
  • Basic experience of BI tools administration, such as Redash or Superset
  • Basic understanding of security concepts (encryption, hashing, SSL, OAuth 2.0)
  • Basic experience of Terraform & Ansible
  • Basic computer networks administration experience, e.g. setting up firewalls, proxy / reverse proxy servers, NAT, VPN

Annual minimum wage according to collective agreement: EUR 40.000 - gross. We are prepared to exceed depending on qualification and experience.
