Backup & Storage Specialist (m/f/d)

About you

You are passionate about IT infrastructure topics and you are service oriented. You are a team player who likes to work in a diverse and global team. Your general curiosity makes you ready to travel up to 10 % of your time for this role.

In addition, you have:

• University degree or equivalent in information systems
• 5 years+ experience
• Deep knowledge of designing and maintaining enterprise backup solutions (IBM Spectrum Protect - former TSM - preferred)
• VMWare & Oracle know how beneficial
• Fluent English in conversation and writing
• Driver's license

About the job

As a Backup & Storage Specialist you will be responsible for designing and operating in our global backup environment. You will be an active member of our IT Infrastructure team that globally supports all areas.

Your tasks will include:

• Designing & operating our global backup environment (IBM Spectrum Protect)
• Operations and 2nd level support of our global storage systems (NetApp, EMC)
• Operations and 2nd level support of our global data centers
• Support of our server operating systems (Windows 2016 & RedHat Linux)
• Performance analysis and tuning

According to the Austrian labor law we are obligated to state that the annual gross salary according to collective agreement starts from EUR 50,000.-- (full time basis).
