To support our team in Vienna, we are looking for a:

Software Project Manager
Railway Business
(m/f)

Our Application Engineering Department is responsible for the development of customer specific technical solutions based on the railway interlocking product ELEKTRA for domestic and international customer projects.

Your responsibilities:

  • Plan and coordinate internal teams performing work packages within the constraints provided by the agreed architecture and design policy.
  • Conduct all work package activities (including those relating to risks and opportunities) to reach completion of the project regarding its technical, industrial, and financial objectives.
  • Perform the whole procedure from authorization till closure of the work packages for all related aspects including organization, scheduling, monitoring, reporting, as well as ensuring effort, budget and quality compliance.

Your profile:

  • University degree preferably in Information Technology, Engineering or related field
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in project management with distributed teams
  • Accurate and structured working method
  • Ability to work in a team in a leading role
  • Outstanding communication skills
  • IPMA or PMI certification is an advantage
  • Fluent German and a good command of the English language are a must

  • Full time employment contract with remuneration depending on skills and experience. The minimum salary in the IT collective agreement starts at EUR 42,000 g.p.a.
