Area Sales Analyst - Eastern Europe


The Sales Analyst (m/f) is expected to monitor and analyse the key sales KPI's within the Eastern Europe Region. The Sales Analyst will play a critical role in establishing the right fact-based reporting formats as well as be the independent owner of the conclusions and business recommendations based on the BP targets and strategies. This will be achieved through thought leadership and exerting strong influence and quality input/control over the work and output of the country analyses and reports. In specific, the work of the Sales Analyst will influence the key analytical instruments including execution auditing, benchmarking, KPI pack coordination, sales reporting, Depletions projects support, category management support, BP support as well as support for the right tools set-up in all markets.

  • Establishment and quality control of KPI pack

To prepare the monthly local and regional Off Take report for Eastern Europe.

To ensure accuracy of figures in the local M&S report.

To deliver ad hoc report of TS and FS per country, per SKU.

To be a project sponsor for Depletions in Europe.

To set up a monthly reporting, combine different sources of information, present the most important business developments to sales management, and proposes routes of action that focus on the right business priorities.

  • Set KPIs

Using global KPIs as a starting point, produce a set of local KPIs that are relevant for the local business. Draw insights and recommendations for action based on business targets and priorities.

  • Insights

Responsible for ensuring category, shopper insights are understood and that clear points of action are determined to address opportunities and issues.

  • Tools

Responsible for making sure that the right tools to measure business performance are available. Know and understand the tools provided by HQ as well as those under development. Assess the need for specific tools to resolve important local business issues and make proposals for implementation.

Support and coach the country teams on data analyses

Provide data and insights for FRE , BP and regional conference presentations

Your experience includes:

(proven performance in)

3-5 years experience in FMCG sector. Ideally as Business Insights manager, Category Manager or Key Account manager. Excellent research skills (lead, design and evaluate research, ability to analyse and derive actionable conclusions).

Clear understanding of markets, sales & distribution, competitor activity, consumer & shopper behaviour, category management & business insights in FMCG context

EDV (Word, Excel, Power Point, etc.).

Project Management and communication skills. Able to influence a team of analysts even though they do not directly report to the Sales Analyst.

  • University Degree (business, marketing or similar).
  • Excellent in Written and Spoken English

Due to legal reasons we are obliged to disclose the minimum salary according to the collective agreement for this position, which is EUR 1.895 gross per month. However, our attractive compensation package is based on market-oriented salaries and is therefore significantly above the stated minimum salary.
