Job description

As a Test Development Engineer you are involved in the entire project lifecycle and act as a quality gate that every single Infineon chip has to pass. Nothing could be more important because dependable and reliable chips are what our partners expect from us. As such, Test Development Engineers play a key role in Infineon's products. In your new job you will:

  • Analyse customer requirements and perform feasibility studies
  • Define and develop test packages for automotive sensor products in close cooperation with the IC design team
  • Plan, run and coordinate test projects
  • Develop innovative testing methods
  • Verify the performance of new test equipment
  • Ensure result interpretation and documentation

During an individual training phase we prepare you optimally for your new tasks. With regular feedback discussions and planning of your professional and personal development we ensure your success in this position.

This job is suitable for full time and part time.


You are best equipped for this job if you have:

  • University Master degree in electronics, computer science, automation or equivalent
  • Professional experience is a plus, such as mixed-signal IC testing on automated test equipment, magnetic stimuli circuit design
  • Experience with high performance measurement equipment is a plus
  • Programming skills e.g. VBA, C++, Matlab
  • Experience or skills in data analysis, statistical methods and tools
  • Fluent English communication skills, German skills are desired

This position is subject to the collective agreement for workers and employees in the electrical and electronics industry, at least employment group F (www.feei.at/arbeitswelt/kv-tabellen-statistik/mindestloehne-und-gehaelter). The monthly salary is paid 14 times p.a. A higher payment is negotiable depending on your expertise and skills. Furthermore, Infineon offers additional employee benefits.
