The Job
In this position, you are responsible for promoting and supporting Scrum, helping team members and stakeholders understand Scrum theory and practices and ensure a frictionless operation and delivery of IT products with the cross-functional Scrum teams.

Scrum Master (m/f)

Your main responsibilities

  • Ensuring that the Scrum team works according to the practices of Scrum
  • Ensuring that goals, scope and responsibilities of the Scrum Team are understood by everyone in the project
  • Facilitating meetings and communication of the team. Facilitating all Scrum events (e.g. sprint planning, daily stand-up, sprint review, sprint retrospective)
  • Understanding, practicing and preaching agility
  • Supporting the Product Owner with release planning and release coordination
  • Supporting the Product Owner in making sure the product backlog is ready for the next sprint
  • Removing impediments to the team
  • Helping the teams to continuously improve effectiveness, performance and productivity and ensuring adequate steps are taken to do so
  • Ensuring that the Scrum team moves in the direction of sprint goal
  • Protecting the team from complacency about their delivery and helping the team in its use of Scrum

Your qualification

  • 3+ years of relevant work experience as a Scrum Master (certification is a plus)
  • Experienced in meeting coordination, moderating Scrum events and mentoring team members
  • Excellent in conflict management and impediment resolution
  • Strong interest in emerging technology and transformational solutions
  • Strong project coordination and project reporting skills
  • Eagerness to work with various teams/stakeholders inside and outside the company across various countries
  • Experience in relationship building with business clients, team members, colleagues and business partners
  • Experienced in delivering IT projects
  • Financial industries experience is a plus
  • Fluent in English and German

Annual minimum wage according to collective agreement: EUR 36.520 - gross. We are prepared to exceed depending on qualification and experience.
