We are an international leading manufacturer of Winter Sports Equipment and part of the Amer Sports Corporation (Atomic, Salomon, Armada, Wilson, Suunto, Precor, Arc'teryx, Mavic and Peak Performance). To support our Sales Controlling & Sales Operations department in Altenmarkt im Pongau / Salzburg we are looking for a:

Sales Analyst Winter Sports Equipment (m/f)

The Sales Analyst is responsible for mastering commercial business intelligence and supporting decision-making process with effective reporting and analysis on commercial fundamentals. The primary focus for this role is the on-going definition, development and reporting of Winter Sports Equipment Business and to support and manage projects. This position will also include contributing to Demand Planning through systematic reconciliation with Commercial and Financial Targets.

KEY MISSION AND ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Sales Controlling and Analysis:

  • Master the IT systems and data bases to collect and distribute accurate figures to the management
  • Master current business management tools (incl. Hyperion, SAP/BI, GRM, QlikView/Sense) and develop easy to use planning and analysing tools
  • Develop standard reports and executive dashboards to track business progress
  • Analyse results versus expectations (sales, margins and inventory management) and drive actions needed to meet financial targets
  • Work with Sales Operations team to adapt reporting to our needs
  • Order book review and analysis
  • Drive risk and opportunity analysis

Support Sales / Demand Planning Process:

  • Manage sales forecast process with Commercial teams
  • Contribute to demand plan through systematic reconciliation with commercial and financial targets
  • Consolidate sales / demand plan and communicate to Category, Brand and Financial leadership
  • Inventory management analysis and forecasting
  • Develop standard reports and executive dashboards to track inventory and forecasting

Market Intelligence:

  • Master market intelligence by evaluating market size and shares and providing competitor analysis

YOUR PROFILE AND REQUIRED COMPETENCIES:

  • Expertise in data management and analysis
  • Knowledge of IT software, (SAP, BI, QlikView/Sense, Excel), agile in using IT solutions for planning
  • Business acumen and selling skills
  • Experience in Project Management
  • Excellent communication skills in a multicultural organization
  • Team working and supportive
  • Detail oriented and organized
  • Proactive to challenge the status quo and to recommend innovative solutions
  • Drive, enthusiasm
  • Fluent English skills required, German and French skills an advantage

The annual collective agreement's minimum salary for this position is EUR 35.100 gross. Depending on your personal qualifications and vocational experience, we offer an appropriate payment in excess thereof for this highly responsible activity and opportunities for development in a globally active group of companies.
