Job description

In your test engineering role you will:

  • Define test concepts and specifications
  • Design test hardware for automated test equipment (ATE)
  • Code/debug test programs
  • Analyse statistical test data
  • Support volume production
  • Implement innovative methods to reduce test costs and to improve quality


You are convincing by the fact that you are a customer oriented team player, active driver and want to get things done. You work well under stress, are flexible and want to be employed in a demanding field of work. You remain focused on solutions, are open-minded and flexible even if under pressure, exhibit and promote awareness for quality in your area of work and share information comprehensively and effectively.

You are best equipped for this task if you have:

  • A degree from university or university of applied science in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics or comparable educational background
  • 3+ years of experience in test engineering/development/lab environment
  • Fluent English and ideally German language skills
  • Ideally already some experience on Eagle Tester Platforms

This position is subject to the collective agreement for workers and employees in the electrical and electronics industry, employment group G (www.feei.at/kollektivvertraege/kv_tabelle/). The monthly salary is paid 14 times p.a. A higher payment is negotiable depending on your expertise and skills. Furthermore, Infineon offers additional employee benefits.
