Area Sales Manager

Semperform - HSA

At Semperform HSA we are producing escalator handrails in Austria, China and USA. Among the market leaders in this business field we are supplying our products to all industrialized countries in the world. To support our European Sales team located in Wimpassing (Austria) we are looking for a highly-motivated sales representative:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Generating and qualifying customer leads in a defined sales area
  • Active order acquisition, quotation tracking and tender management to continously grow sales turnover
  • Expand share of wallet and increase profitablilty at existing customers while establishing long term business relationships
  • Regular price and contract negotiations
  • Supporting and developing regional Service Partners
  • Ongoing market research, competitive intelligence
  • Identification of market trends (products, service, market structure)
  • Handling of claims - support of technical departments, trouble-shooting, claim setting

Requirements:

  • Technical or commercial education (University, University of applied science) and/or min. 2 years working experience in B2B sales, ideally in an international environment
  • Highly solution oriented sales approach
  • Willingness to work in an international environment and across different cultures
  • Fluency in English; other foreign languages (especially Spanish, Italian, Eastern European languages) are an advantage
  • Independent working style & Hands-on-Mentality
  • Proven negotiation skills
  • Ambition to develop career further in mid-term
  • Willingsness to travel (~60% of working time)

Gross monthly salary: from EUR 3200 (in accordance with the collective labour agreement); higher rates dependent on professional qualifications and experience
