About the job:
As IKEA Food Safety Leader (f/m) you have overall responsibility in the country for food safety within IKEA FOOD and ensure that IKEA FOOD operates in accordance with legislation and IKEA Food Safety Policy.

  • You build IKEA FOOD in your country together with your colleagues to reach the goal for IKEA FOOD "to help the IKEA store sell more IKEA home furnishings products" and support the IKEA position as the leading home furnishings company.
  • You ensure compliance of global IKEA Food Safety policy and adapt it as needed to meet national and local legislation.
  • You ensure that IKEA Food Safety programs are implemented and followed in cooperation with the stores.
  • You develop and manage the HACCP system within IKEA Austria.
  • You support and advise on quality and environment related issues like food safety, allergens, nutrition, labelling, ingredients, etc.

About the assignment:

  • You have working experience and education in the areas of food quality. A university degree in food quality (e.g. chemistry, microbiology, safety) is an advantage.
  • You have in-depth knowledge around food quality in general and national food safety in particular. You are in knowledge of laws and standards regarding ingredients, labelling and supplier certifications (such as BRC).
  • You have the ability to read and analyse KPI's as well as tactical thinking.
  • You are used to meet tight deadlines.
  • You have good communication skills in German and English, both verbal and written and high energy in motivating, inspiring and developing people.

Weitere Informationen:

For this fulltime position we offer you a yearly gross salary starting from EUR 37.996,--. We are willing to pay more depending on experience and qualification with an ALL IN contractual agreement
