Business Development Manager/in Industrial

Purpose & key responsibilities of the role:

  • Creates fundamental understanding of market structure, value chain analysis for decision making and understanding key customer needs (USP and value based pricing)
  • Creates basic technical understanding of product conversion along the entire value chain
  • Develops and optimises of business plan (action plan) and business case (financial key figures)
  • Participates in execution of business plans
  • Develops, achieves and maintains trusted relationships with customers
  • Ensures generation and constant increase of sales and CM2 in respective markets
  • Generates marketing and communication content
  • Leads global business development activities in cooperation with regions

Our expectations for this exciting role:

  • Master degree in strategy or technical chemistry, MBA is a plus
  • At least 6 years of exerience as consultant in business development, sales strategy or as entrepreneur in an international industrial environment within a B2B business
  • Understanding Lenzing's Commercial processes (e.g. S&OP, Pricing)
  • Very good language skills in English and MS-Office
  • Excellent analytical skills, structural and logic thinking
  • High communication skills
  • Travel approximately 40%

We offer a performance-oriented pay, as well as excellent development opportunities in the Lenzing Group. The monthly gross salary for this position is according to collective agreement in the chemical industry based on 38h/week at least EUR 3.400,- with a willingness to overpay - depending on qualifications and experience. Additionally you will also take part in the Lenzing bonus system.
