Team Leader Build Configuration Management - Expatriate in Shanghai (m/f)

In this technically challenging and diversified function you will support our development projects in the field of autonomous driving. After an intensive onboarding in our headquarters in Vienna, you will be ready for your exciting challenge and journey in our joint venture company SxT in Shanghai, enabling global knowhow transfer. You will be leading a BCM team within the R&D Group and take over management responsibilities. Your team will have a strong focus on MotionWise software development according to automotive series quality standards.

Your Tasks

  • Leading and developing an agile software development team according to the SXT Leadership Principles
  • Developing series software components with focus on communication services
  • Ensuring staffing of series projects together with your Group Lead and Product Owner
  • Defining the product roadmaps for your area of responsibility in close collaboration with your Product Owner
  • Acting as a pro-active interface to all teams and groups of the business unit and customers, ensuring good collaboration
  • Defining goals for your team members in accordance with the company strategy and group goals
  • Providing technical and personal guidance for your team
  • Recruiting and selecting new team members and ensuring training and development of your team members

Your Profile

  • Profound embedded software development know-how and experience with relevant technologies
  • Experience with quality- and safety- standards (e.g., Automotive SPICE, ISO26262 or similar standards from other industries)
  • Experience with agile development frameworks (SAFe, LeSS, SCRUM, Kanban) is an advantage
  • Knowledge of automotive software architectures and tools is beneficial
  • Self-aware personality with respect to personal strengths and development areas
  • Demonstrate integrity and values and active leadership by example
  • Ability to collaborate and work effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Excellent communication skills
  • English is a must, German is an advantage

Your performance is remunerated with an attractive and market-compliant salary. The position is subject to the Collective Agreement for Employees in the Metal Trade (Kollektivvertrag für Angestellte Metallgewerbe) and we provide a minimum salary of 50,000.- Euro gross per year. Naturally, we offer an overpayment based on your previous experience and qualifications, as well as an appealing expatriation package.
