Job description

In your new job you will:

  • Participate in system development (demo boards and test platforms) for applications such as power supplies for Datacom and Telecom, isolated DC-DC converter modules, battery management systems, adaptors, etc.
  • Evaluate new power semiconductor devices and power conversion topologies
  • Shape new power devices (silicon or other new materials, such as GaN) and integrated power products addressing both application and market needs
  • Work closely with functional block experts on lab oriented technical activities
  • Create internal and external technical documents, e.g. fighting guides, application notes, technical training, etc.
  • Closely collaborate with other functions in the organization, e.g. Quality Management, Technology Development, Marketing, etc.


You work thoroughly on making things better, faster and more efficient and remain focused on solutions. With your proactive, analytical and autonomous working style, you are able to demonstrate high quality standards for yourself and other people. As a true team player and critical thinker, you work perseveringly together with your colleagues on developing ideas to their full implementation and application.

You are best equipped for this task if you have:

  • An Electrical Engineering degree (Master or Ph.D. from an accredited University)
  • At least 5 years of relevant experience in power electronics
  • Knowledge and experience in designing with Power MOSFETs, power stages, drivers, controllers, and circuit protection
  • Ability to execute design, simulation, thermal and design verification plans for switched-mode power supply, in particular for high/medium voltage DC-DC conversion
  • Excellent communication skills in English

We offer competitive salaries and additional benefits based on your performance, experience and qualification. The employment is in accordance with the collective salary and wage agreement for employees of the electrical and electronics industry, employment group G (www.feei.at/arbeitswelt/kv-tabellen-statistik/mindestloehne-und-gehaelter). The monthly salary is paid 14 times p.a. We offer a higher compensation depending on your expertise and skills.
