You will be the expert for BEOL development and responsible for the implementation within dedicated technology projects and a successful transition into volume production.

Job description

In your new job you will:

  • Develop new BEOL & preassembly process concepts / flows of new technology platforms or technology derivatives
  • Consider the holistic supply chain including chip-package interface and product besides the FE technology
  • Identify cost down potentials of running technologies
  • Evaluate new BEOL processes together with the unit process team enabling new products and take responsibility for the characterization of the respective module
  • Trigger reliability investigations of new BEOL & preassembly modules
  • Close collaborate with unit process and process integration and product development engineers in Villach and package development in Asia
  • Plan, coordinate and evaluate process experiments including statistical DoEs (design of experiment) and ensure process window
  • Manage technology projects (T1-T10) with BEOL scope including reporting, risk management and project planning according to TDHB (InfineonTechnology Development Handbook)


As a team player you set the direction in your field of expertise and cooperate across boundaries by recognizing and using different areas of expertise and skills. With your independent working style you ensure that deliverables are complete in high quality and remain aware of the big picture even in complex situations.

You are best equipped for this task if you have:

  • A University degree in Electrical Engineering, Material Sciences, Physics or comparable
  • More than 1 year experience in technology development or process integration
  • Sound knowledge in semiconductor process technology and semiconductor physics
  • Experience in project management would be an advantage
  • Knowledge of MOSFET technologies and product portfolio of Infineon is an advantage
  • Fluent English and German skills

We offer a higher compensation depending on your expertise and skills.
