Job description

Infineon application landscape is always focusing on quality and stability to support our vertical integrated factory. Factory Integration (FI) support manufacturing applications such as shop floor control, wafer mapping system and automation to sustain production from any downtime.

During an individual training phase, we prepare you optimally for your new tasks. With regular feedback discussions and planning of your professional and personal development, we want to ensure your success in this position.

In your new role you will support the development of new software solutions and extend existing applications with following focus areas:

  • Review and validation of requirements
  • Analysis of malfunctions in existing applications
  • Identification and elimination of problematic areas
  • Creation of simple technical specifications
  • Development of new software according to requirements and specification
  • Support system rollout / deployment
  • Creation and execution of test plans
  • 24/7 on-call duty in a team

This position is limited for 14 months.


You are best equipped for this task if you have:

  • A University degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering or similar
  • A Higher Technical School (HTL) degree with working experience in which you have gained knowledge and experience with the following technologies:
  • Data Base knowledge with Oracle, PL/SQL, MS-SQL
  • Software programming patterns, paradigms and development methodologies as a plus
  • C#, .NET Framework, Visual Studio development environment and Team Foundation Server
  • (TFS) as a plus
  • Analytical and problem solving skills
  • Fluent English skills, German skills are desired

We are looking to fill this position through one of our partners. A valid Austrian work permit or EU citizenship is a prerequisite. Our partner offers a payment of at least 2.445,79 EUR (gross) per month (14 times p.a.) according to the collective agreement for workers and employees in the electrical and electronics industry. A higher payment is negotiable depending on your expertise and skills. Furthermore, Infineon offers additional employee benefits.
