Senior Digital Analyst / Data Scientist (m/f)

Your tasks:

  • Deliver digital marketing, consumer, customer & E-Business insights & reports to internal stakeholders
  • Drive the integration of business relevant data sources to enable 360 degree, data-driven decision making and business intelligence & analytics requirements
  • Development and set up of KPI´s (website, social media channels, financial data)/ Establish benchmarks
  • Provide business intelligence insights and analytical management reports
  • Full data analysis, reporting and visualization in dashboards
  • Support stakeholder decision-making and digital product maintenance
  • Recommend optimization to enhance reporting
  • Maintain standard architecture principles to guide markets

Your profile:

  • Graduate in applied statistics, econometrics, data science, business analytics or a relevant field
  • Strong digital affinity, passionate about digital technologies, orientation towards the web and software applications
  • Several years of professional experience within the research, data or business analytics fields, ideally in a digital environment (websites, social media channels)
  • Relevant experience in data analysis and reporting results to senior colleagues or management as well as presenting results to CXO-level
  • Proficient in data management, data analysis, data visualization and creating dashboards, preferably with Tableau (PowerBI is a plus)
  • Demonstrated success of implementing analytical tools, scripting/automation, web scraping
  • Analytical, detail-oriented, structured, precise, unbiased, methodological and disciplined approach to data analysis
  • Good knowledge of programming in statistical tools, e.g. R, Stata, SPSS
  • Proficient in advanced mathematics and statistics (time series, econometrics, statistical modelling, multivariate statistical analysis, hypothesis testing)
  • Passionate about data mining, big data, DWH/ETL, machine learning, neural networks
  • Comfortable with both relational databases and advanced database queries, e.g. SQL and object-oriented programming & parsing in scripting languages, e.g. Python, VBA
  • Advanced understanding of Excel, excellent self-organization skills and fluency in English are presumed, other languages like German, Chinese or French are a plus
