Group Accounting Expert (m/f) - Focus on IFRS / UGB

The Accounting Competence Center is a team of specialists within the Group Accounting Division. The unit represents a center of excellence for UGB and IFRS methodological issues. It is responsible for the preparation of the Group Accounting Policy, participates in projects which require UGB as well as IFRS expertise and provides support and trainings within the Group.

YOU:

  • prepare UGB and IFRS analysis and methodological input for specific issues (financial instruments, derivatives, fair value)
  • will be actively involved in projects where interdisciplinary expertise and advise between UGB/IFRS is required
  • participate in the maintenance and annual review of the Group Accounting Manual and distribution/training to stakeholders
  • support in ensuring proper and accurate accounting opinions
  • have expertise and in-depth knowledge of IFRS/UGB especially financial instruments accounting with the ability to apply that knowledge at a practical level
  • ideally have experiences with treasury products and processes
  • have a master degree in economics or equivalent education and minimum 4 years professional experience
  • are a reliable, proactive, flexible and stress resistant person
  • have attention to details but with a mindset of materiality
  • like to work in a team and enjoy challenges
  • have excellent communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively and interact with all hierarchical levels and different cultural backgrounds
  • are fluent in German and English
