Part of HOERBIGER Vienna's RU Service Europe and REE Solutions team, the Compressor Upgrade Engineer will be expected to make a critical contribution to transforming the market's perception of the company from that of a component supplier into a true partner for reciprocating compressor solutions. In three years, he or she will have obtained a good understanding of the company's products and services and have independently applied in-depth knowledge of reciprocating compressor equipment to create customer solutions. The individual in this position will have helped the sales organization understand customer requirements on an asset level as well as translate these requirements into a meaningful offers that the sales team can make to the customer.
Serving as a role model in the engineering organization, the person in this role will develop competency in compressor engineering to provide support for standardizing REE solutions as well as coordinate and support technical activities within the European Service unit. He or she will develop technical solutions supported by a meaningful business case and strongly aligned with customer requirements while also maintaining a clear focus on asset availability and efficiency. The Compressor Upgrade Engineer will also continuously develop and improve engineering processes and contribute to developing REE standards, solution packages, and application-engineering processes as well as to the growth of Solutions' opportunity funnel.
Working in a multinational and multicultural environment as well as across multiple technical disciplines, the Compressor Upgrade Engineer will be responsible for developing technical solutions in close alignment with our customers and for supporting the development of project proposals. He or she will coordinate the engineering and scoping of complex compressor upgrade projects, attend customer meetings and presentations in person, and provide technical and engineering support to local branches. The individual in this position will also drive opportunity development for Solutions that are in alignment with the company's business strategy as well as coach and train junior engineers and the sales team on specific topics. Based on wage structure agreements we are offering for this role monthly payments starting at EUR2,700 gross in respect to individual qualifications and experience.
