What's the role?

As Strategic Procurement Manager you define, implement and lead the global supply strategy for metal products. Within Hilti you are accountable for the global purchase volume of the category Pipe Clamps and your impact is directly visible in the financial performance of the business.

What does the role involve?

Define and drive strategic initiatives with suppliers in Europe, Asia and America and further develop our global supplier base. Deliver on challenging availability and financial targets by identifying and realization of cost reduction potentials together with our international supply teams around the world.

What you need is:

  • University degree in a technical or economical field
  • Minimum 3 - 5 years working experience in a global purchasing department
  • Experience with stamping, bending, welding and assembly of steel components
  • Excellent communication skills in English (mandatory) and German (strongly recommended)
  • Highly committed personality and excellent analytical skills
  • Strong in execution as well as outstanding capability in negotiations
  • Willingness to travel globally

This position is subject to the collective agreement for employees in metal trade, employment group 5 which states a minimum salary of EUR 3.157,75.
