Job description

In your new job you will:

  • Work on chip layout as well as on subsystems and makros
  • Be responsible for chip floor planning and power/clock distribution
  • Create state of the art analog/mixed-signal IC layouts
  • Be responsible for running verification and extraction sequences
  • Ensure successful project deliveries
  • Be responsible for implementation and verification of IC layouts
  • Participate in establishing CAD and layout design methodologies

Profile

Your ability to quickly establish a successful cooperation helps you to gain trust within the team. With your independent working style, you ensure that deliverables are complete in high quality and remain aware of the big picture even in complex situations.

These qualifications make you our top-candidate:

  • A higher technical school (HTL) or university of applied sciences degree in the field of Electrical Engineering or comparable
  • 5+ years of experience in analog/mixed signal full custom layout
  • Good understanding of integrated circuits such as matching, noise, coupling, shielding and IR-drop as well as all kinds of layout dependent effects (LDE) in deep submicron technologies
  • Knowledge of state of the art CAD tools for physical design (Cadence, Mentor)
  • Unix/Linux OS experience
  • Fluent English skills with German skills as a plus

This position is subject to the collective agreement for workers and employees in the electrical and electronics industry, employment group F - G (https://www.feei.at/arbeitswelt/kv-tabellen-statistik/mindestloehne-und-gehaelter). The monthly salary is paid 14 times p.a. A higher payment is negotiable depending on your expertise and skills. Furthermore, Infineon offers additional employee benefits.
