Job description

In your new job, you will:

  • Take up a technical lead function with responsibility for the entire block/system
  • Modelling & specification
  • Transistor-level design and verification
  • Design for test ability (DfX)
  • Act as communication interface to other blocks and teams
  • Pinning, top-level evaluation
  • Layout-support
  • Support of lab-evaluation


You demonstrate strong communication skills and know how to establish lasting relationships and networks. As a true team player you are aware of cultural differences, like to cooperate across boundaries and appreciate the contributions of other people. You pursue ambitious goals, live up to high quality standards and are prepared to manage risks actively.

You are best equipped for this task if you have:

  • A university / university of applied sciences degree in Electrical Engineering or comparable
  • 5+ years of experience in Analog Design / Concept Engineering / Top Level Design for products in the automotive, industry or consumer sector
  • Know-how in the area of power applications (e.g. DC-DC converters, EVR's, etc.) will be an advantage
  • Knowledge in BCD and/or deep sub-micron technologies
  • Extensive experience in design tools like, Virtuoso, Hspice, Spectre
  • Knowledge of automotive safety standards like ISO 26262 and Functional Safety
  • Very good communication skills and team player
  • Excellent English skills with German as a plus

This position is subject to the collective agreement for workers and employees in the electrical and electronics industry, employment group G-H ( The monthly salary is paid 14 times p.a. A higher payment is negotiable depending on your expertise and skills. Furthermore, Infineon offers additional employee benefits.
