We are looking for a

Commercial Excellence Manager (f/m)

with proven business understanding and an entrepreneurial mind-set who wants to bring in his/her ideas and capabilities with enthusiasm and competence to make a difference.


Drive commercial and business excellence by strategically looking at Sales Force Effectiveness, market research and multichannel activities to increase top and bottom line results. Act as Business Partner to the Business Unit Directors in designing, planning and implementation of commercial processes, projects and initiatives to continuously improve and maximize business impact in all Business Units.


Sales force effectiveness

  • Advise and challenge the business on the right targeting & segmentation, territory design/alignment, field force capacity planning, product allocation, call plan design and monitoring
  • Monitor SFE KPIs by/and identifying business needs/challenges
  • Develop / align standards and targets for SFE KPIs for all BUs
  • Drive the Call Plan process, advising on optimal call frequencies, providing guidelines and support to sales force
  • Work together with IT to identify and improve our ways to measure and track the performance and effectiveness of sales force based on the right quantitative and qualitative KPIs in the right systems, tools, analytics, performance dashboards

Market Insight

  • Define, align and drive Brand Market Research Plan for promoted brands, launch brands or new indications
  • Monitor brand performance through strategic data analysis

Multichannel Management

  • Accountable for the development and management of multichannel and digital strategy and initiatives to increase customer engagement and share of voice
  • Develop innovative digital customer and patient engagement initiatives such as websites, mailings, webinars, digital commercial platforms ..ect)

Driving for excellence

  • Facilitate and proactively manage best practice sharing across BUs and within other marketing companies within region regarding commercial excellence
  • Screening opportunities and synergies across the BUs and within the region in order to maximize expertise and share knowledge and competencies to scale performance and results


  • University degree in business administration or comparable studies
  • Fluent in German and English
  • Background in pharmaceuticals industry or FMCG 5 years +
  • SFE/market research experience is a must
  • Sales experience is advantage
  • Digital/Multichannel experience is advantage
  • Profound skills in market and competitor analysis
  • Strong analytical skills and high learning agility
  • Strong leadership and influencing skills
  • Superior ability to communicate, collaborate effectively
  • Excellent project management capabilities
  • Affinity to CRM and IT systems
