Job description

You will be responsible for preparation and execution of product development projects for automotive semiconductors. You will work within a global development network, product marketing, application engineering, as well as manufacturing operations. Therefore collaboration across locations and organizations is essential for success.

In particular your tasks are:

  • Plan, organize and control your project with full responsibility for all operational decisions and for the successful achievement of all project targets.
  • Manage and control the entire project life-cycle and ensure hand-over to sustaining function as main contact person for all questions regarding the project
  • Form and lead a diverse project team and assign responsibilities within the project to sub-project managers and project team members.
  • Assign tasks / work packages to the most appropriate individual team members
  • Structure projects, ensure compliance and hold project team accountable
  • Continuously focus on quality , assess progress, navigate challenges and ensure that goals are met

This job is suitable for full- and part-time.


You are best equipped for this task if you have:

  • A university degree in electrical engineering or a similar technical background gives you a good foundation to successfully manage the challenge ahead
  • 6+ years of experience in design or product engineering with 4 years of experience in leading projects with conventional and agile methods.
  • Understanding of the demanding automotive quality and functional safety requirements
  • Strong negotiation skills which help you to drive the project and to come to quick decisions
  • Interest in the latest technologies and possess the ability to think and work cooperatively
  • A positive mindset and you can motivate people
  • MS-Office and MS-Project skills
  • Fluent English skills with German skills as a plus

This position is subject to the collective agreement for workers and employees in the electrical and electronics industry, employment group I ( The monthly salary is paid 14 times p.a. A higher payment is negotiable depending on your expertise and skills. Furthermore, Infineon offers additional employee benefits.
