Learning & Development Specialist, BD Cato (m/w)

To be based at any BD location in Austria/Germany, UK or Nordics

The Medication Management Solutions (MMS) business is a $2.2B global provider of Medication Management technology serving Acute Care Hospitals, Non-Acute Care, and Retail Pharmacies. We are focused on making the medication use process simpler, safer and smarter.
We are looking for an experienced training manager to devise our International training strategy, oversee its implementation and assess its outcomes. You will identify internal and external product training needs and drive suitable competency-based training models.
You will be expected to work across many departments to get employees up to speed in both specific and overall training needs of the business. Responsibilities also include enhancing employees' skills, performance, productivity and quality of work.

As Training Manager for BD Cato, you will Identify and assess future and current training needs through job analysis, consultation with line managers. You will be in charge of developing competency- based certified training modules to meet both internal needs and external professional services business. Furthermore your responsibilities will be:

  • Continue ongoing updates to training modules based on software update release cycle and net new products
  • Deploy a wide variety of training methods including e-learning, refresher training modules, etc.
  • Conduct effective induction and orientation sessions for the Business Unit
  • Monitor and evaluate training program's effectiveness, success and ROI periodically and report on them
  • Identifying and assessing future and current training needs
  • Provide opportunities for ongoing development
  • Resolve any specific problems and tailor training programs as necessary
  • Maintain a keen understanding of training trends, developments and best practices
  • Be willing to travel up to 40%

For this role we are looking for someone with ideally 3-5 years of experience in healthcare automation and/or healthcare operations. You will have a track record in designing and executing successful training programs. Furthermore you will have:

  • Proven work experience in training with ideally a train the trainer qualification
  • Familiarity with traditional and modern training methods (mentoring, coaching, on-the-job or in classroom training, e-learning, workshops, simulations, etc.)
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to plan, multi-task and manage time effectively
  • Supervisory/management skills preferred
  • Strong writing and record keeping ability for reports and training manuals Good computer and database skills
  • Bachelor's Degree required, with a strong preference for degrees in Marketing, Business, and Industrial Engineering; MBA preferred
  • German language skills preferred

We offer

The annual minimum gross salary for this position is EUR 47.000,- (full-time basis, non-all-in contract). Based on individual skills and experience, we offer appropriate additional payment, in particular for senior profiles.
