HOERBIGER is currently implementing SAP as their global ERP system to pursue operational excellence. ESM (Engineering / Surveillance & Operation / Maintenance) is a customized Microsoft .NET user interface for SAP which was developed by HOERBIGER. The system is currently being rolled out, 90% has been achieved thus far. The entire roll-out process is scheduled to be completed for all target countries by mid 2018. Then SAP and the ESM application will be used at all service branches throughout the world. This will ensure the entire service organization benefits from the efficiency and effectiveness of one reliable high-performance IT tool.
As a result of our ongoing change program (KT2020), HOERBIGER will also undergo further changes over the course of the next three years. These changes will affect various areas of our organization, our market approach, and will entail an alignment of previously separated strategic business units. Additional goals include ensuring the long-term success of the HOERBIGER service organization by assuring ESM remains the main application for service processes, ensuring established processes are applied at all service branches and continuously increasing the efficiency of ESM by proactively suggesting improvements.
