International Trade Marketing/Category Manager (m/f)

Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement the trade marketing strategy for the Group, transferable to channels and clients at country level
  • Establish trade marketing standards and tools and ensure implementation in the Group
  • Develop and support implementation of shopper activation programs per client and per channel
  • Identify best practices and develop guidelines for in-store implementations across the Group
  • Lead category management projects with international and national retail clients
  • Develop and set-up GoodMills' Shelf Management (tools, standards & guidelines etc.)
  • Promotion excellence: promotion strategy, promotion analysis, promotion implementation
  • Responsibility for market intelligence and for following trends and market developments
  • Responsibility for shopper insights for flour category
  • Close cooperation with other functions, particularly with B2C sales and marketing teams, including support for countries' annual sales planning process


  • University degree with focus on business administration or similar
  • Minimum 3 - 5 years extensive experience in an international company in trade marketing/category management/shopper marketing, preferably in food/consumer goods, ideally in one or more CEE markets
  • Proven track record in implementation of projects with clients (e.g. category management, shelf management projects, implementation of consumer activations)
  • Experience in shopper research and in project management
  • Profound general operational sales experience in B2C
  • Excellent knowledge and application of sales methods, tools and instruments
  • Strong analytical skills, pragmatic, structured and efficient
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (including cross-cultural awareness) and entrepreneurial spirit
  • Strong sales personality and team player
  • Fluency in English and ideally also in German, any other language of the region is a plus
  • Readiness to travel up to 40%
