Performance, Portfolio & Planning Manager (f/m)

Your responsibilities:

  • Support OMV Austria's Management to carry out duties in order to implement the E&P strategy in the branch office
  • Close collaboration with the technical Functions of OMV Austria and the Management of OMV Austria
  • Responsible for annual planning activity (MTP)
  • Responsible for the integration of E&P OMV Austria strategy to support the future maturation of its hydrocarbon resource base into reserves, and the development of its reserves into economic production and delivery to sales
  • Will be in charge of performance management related to KPIs or ad-hoc inquiries for the technical and operational business units within OMV Austria. This includes running monthly performance dialogues, and ensuring follow-up of actions with the business
  • Support in preparing high-level strategy papers to drive planning activities
  • Ensure high quality and timely delivery of ad-hoc reports to Senior Management in Vienna and the MD of OMV Austria as per requests

Your profile:

  • University degree/ Master in Petroleum-, Mechanical Engineering, Economics or Business Administration with at least 8 years of relevant professional experience
  • In-depth understanding of strategic development, processes & methods of E&P business (cross functional knowledge)
  • Strong statistical aptitude and an ability to diagnose complex problems
  • Extended knowledge of planning, portfolio, economics, controlling, finance and financial management (Opex, Capex, financial modelling)
  • Deep knowledge of any other methodologies, standards or practices applicable for planning, evaluation, controlling and reporting (e.g. NPV, RoNA, EMV, DPI, etc.)
  • Profound knowledge of software used (especially MS Excel, PowerPoint, Palantir Cash & Plan, TM1, SAP)
  • Experience in managing the expectations of various stakeholders
  • Being stress-resistant and flexible, strong commitment to achieve goals and deliver work results

  • According to Austrian labor law, the minimum salary related to the Austrian collective labor agreement has to be stated in the advertisement (EUR 75,500 gross per year, all in)
