We are currently looking for a new Junior Data Scientist (m/f) to support our open-minded and enthusiastic "SCM Development 4.0" team with home base Vienna. In this role you are driving the change to a digital supply chain within RHI Magnesita.
•You are an expert for machine learning, artificial intelligence and big data analysis within the department for future projects
•You undertake research activities, analyze/interpret and prepare data and derive recommendations
•You develop new concepts for a digital supply chain and provide innovative solutions
•You support and manage the implementation of solutions to maximize the company's goals
•You act as interface to internal departments (e.g. Sales, R&D, SCM, IT) and external partners
•University Degree (University/FH) with a technical background
•First professional experience within a global company is an advantage
•Good knowledge of the programming language R and Python, machine learning algorithms and statistical methods for data analysis are mandatory
•Experience in project management would be a benefit
•Fluent in German and English

For this full time position (38.5 working hours) the monthly gross salary according to collective bargaining agreement starts from EUR 3.259,67. The actual level of remuneration depends on skills and experience.
