Admissions Officer (f/m)

Full Time (40 hours/week), Ideal starting date: as soon as possible

Reporting to the Head of Admissions, the Admissions Officer is primarily responsible for accompanying prospective students from inquiry throughout the entire application process up to the admission decision. He/she helps maximize conversion rates from recruited to admitted students increasing new student intakes per term.

Key responsibilities:

  • Point person for the admissions procedures including pre-transfer credit evaluation following established admissions standards and criteria.
  • Ensure smooth and timely processing of student applications.
  • Inform newly accepted students regarding missing admissions documents, visa and housing requirements, and key dates such as deadlines and New Student Orientation dates.
  • Prepare admitted student files for handover to student advisors.
  • Update WVPU students' database.
  • Represent WVPU at relevant local events and conduct informative campus tours.

Your Profile:

  • Bachelor degree or equivalent work experience
  • Advanced oral and written English skills, German language skills an asset
  • Minimum one-year experience in the educational industry
  • Knowledge and skill in the utilization of database systems
  • Sound knowledge of MS Office (with an excelled knowledge of Excel, including pivot tables)
  • An independent, goal- and detail-oriented multitasker who is able to work in teams and a multicultural environment

Applicants must have the legal right to work in Austria. Annual gross salary (full-time basis 40 hours/week) starts at EUR 32.000, - plus benefits.
