Interdel is a dynamic and international trading company with long time experience in the meat industry since 2003. We offer our customers a reliable business relationship and expertise in the meat market. Our young, international team consists of native speakers dealing with their own home markets. We speak the language of our clients.

In this challenging position the successful candidate will be purchasing products and services for Interdel and manage the supplier relationships. The position is based in Vienna and reports to the Managing Director and founder of the company.

TASKS AND RESPONSABILITIES:

  • Successfully developing sales projects and ensuring order intake
  • Managing continuous customer relationship and watch over customer satisfaction
  • Contributing during bid phase in milestones preparation as well as negotiating contractual, financial and commercial conditions
  • Being responsible for capturing and sharing valuable marketing & sales information
  • Documenting customers' requests properly
  • Interview clients and visit clients plants and distribution centers to examine and learn about products, services, and prices
  • Interest in understanding the meat market and technical knowledge of the traded goods
  • Maintain and review records of items bought, costs, deliveries, product performance, and inventories
  • Attend meetings, trade shows, and conferences to learn about new industry trends and contact suppliers
  • Analyze price proposals and other information to determine reasonable prices
  • Work out policies with suppliers
  • Evaluate and monitor contracts to be sure that vendors and supplies comply with the terms and conditions of the contract and to determine need for changes

YOUR PROFILE:

  • Field proven experience in purchase/sales and negotiation for complex related business with noticeable results
  • Previous experience in sales related roles in an international environment, combined with solid negotiation skills
  • Sound intercultural experience with very high level of interpersonal, organizational and communication skills
  • Required languages: fluent Business English, good German skills
  • Desired languages: Japanese / French / Polish
