International Financial Controller

At the holding location in Salzburg, we coordinate the international development of the expanding ALDI SOUTH Group across three continents, with over 100,000 employers and 5,300 stores. Your tasks

  • Develop overall target state for processes in your responsibility (FICO) in alignment with IT Expert and Business Lead with a particular focus on Financial Controlling
  • Drive development of the Controlling model and organisational KPIs and deliver related business requirements
  • Participate in process workshops to develop the target state process model in alignment with the IT Experts and the Controlling Business Lead
  • Prioritise features, manage the specific product backlog, the requirements and ensure their traceability
  • Support change management, training and communication efforts for the sub-project

Your qualifications

  • University degree in economics, commerce or business-related discipline
  • Minimum 3 years' relevant experience, preferably working in a large corporate or retail sector
  • Work experience in international projects considered advantageous
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
  • High project and process management skills
  • Willingness to travel extensively as required (frequent European travel with occasional global travel demand)
  • Fluent in English (written and verbal), German language skills will be highly regarded
