Job description

In your new role you will:

  • Discuss with customers and collect their application specific requirements
  • Be responsible for feasibility studies for new functions and features
  • Define the product architecture and partitioning of the integrated circuit
  • Technically lead a chip development team
  • Develop functional safety concepts and decompositions
  • Break down application requirements to chip module requirements
  • Define the needed modules and functions of the chip
  • Ensure the completeness and correctness of the detailed implementation of the concept within the detailed design and implementation

This position is to be filled through one of our partners.

This job is suitable for full- and part-time.


You are best equipped for this task if you have:

  • A university / university of applied sciences degree in Electronics, Computer Science or comparable
  • Experience with battery management applications
  • Knowledge of lithium ion battery properties and methods for determination of SOC and SOH
  • Experience in analog and digital design
  • Experience with ADC architectures
  • Basic Knowledge of EMC, ESD
  • Battery HotPlug as a plus
  • Knowledge of functional safety (ISO26262)
  • Familiar with design for test concepts
  • Experience with system simulations (Matlab, Simulink)
  • Fluent English skills with German skills as a plus

We are looking to fill this position through one of our partners. A valid Austrian work permit is a prerequisite. Our partner offers a payment of 3.478,52 to 4.256,12 EUR (gross) per month (14 times p.a.) according to the collective agreement for workers and employees in the electrical and electronics industry. A higher payment is negotiable depending on your expertise and skills. Furthermore, Infineon offers additional employee benefits.
