Job description
In this challenging position you will:

  • Plan, organize and control the project with full responsibility for all operational decisions in the project and for the successful achievement of all project targets
  • Assure pro-active risk management
  • Be responsible from innovative project idea until end of product life cycle
  • Secure timely communications to management and stakeholders on project progress
  • Lead globally distributed project teams covering the entire value chain - from wafer technology to final product
  • Continuously focus on project quality, assess progress and ensure that goals are met even in the face of challenges

Your profile

As a team player, you communicate openly, clearly, and coherently and you are able to quickly establish successful cooperation. You are a proactive, self-driven character, striving to make things better, faster, and more efficient. You enjoy working in a very complex and demanding surrounding, you are flexible and work well under stress.

You are best equipped for this task if you have:

  • A University / University of Applied Sciences degree in Electrical Engineering, Information Technology, Physics or similar
  • At least 6 years of experience in semiconductor industry
  • At least 4 years of experience in managing projects
  • Work experience in planning, reporting and managing projects
  • Experience in silicon process technologies, package technologies and product development desired
  • Experience in problem solving techniques (e.g. 8D methodology) desired
  • IPMA-C certification as a plus
  • F luent English skills with good German skills as a plus
  • Intercultural awareness and ability to manage multicultural teams in different sites and segments

This position is subject to the collective agreement for workers and employees in the electrical and electronics industry, employment group I (www.feei.at/arbeitswelt/kv-tabellen-statistik/mindestloehne-und-gehaelter-2017). The monthly salary is paid 14 times p.a. A higher payment is negotiable depending on your expertise and skills. Furthermore, Infineon offers additional employee benefits.
