As Senior Product Marketing Manager (f/m), you will have business responsibility for a product group (Power MOSFETs) for which you will define and implement the global strategy within the Power Management and Multimarket (PMM) Division, Power Management product line.

In addition, there will be business development opportunities to enable a new product segment in Wideband gap semiconductors (GaN HEMTs) in power applications.

Job description
In your new role you will:

  • Be responsible as product group business owner
    within our Power MOSFETS & IC portfolio targeting industrial applications such as Switch mode power supplies (SMPS), Motor control/drives/inverters, battery powered tools and others. Responsibilities include pricing strategy, volume / revenue planning and product portfolio management
  • Business development for new product segment with GaN HEMTs (Gallium Nitride High-electron Mobility Transistors) towards Power conversion applications
  • Influence profit/loss of the product portfolio
  • Manage and develop a business strategy that reflects the long-term division objectives, drive revenue growth and increase profitability
  • Analyze the market to gain an extensive understanding of the business environment and you will drive competitor analysis and consequently be responsible for the definition of new product requirements and initiation of product development.
  • Define and own the future product roadmap. You will manage the assigned product life cycle, product pricing and development priorities based on product line strategy
  • Engage with key and channel customers in future product and solution development
  • Intensively collaborate with worldwide sales and Go-to-Market departments in order to maintain our leading market position
  • Represent the business to external partners worldwide

Your profile
You anticipate the future needs of customers and engage actively with them to support these needs. You induce professional discussions with the relevant people and actively seek ideal solutions. You are business savvy and able to recognize profitable and strategic business opportunities. You facilitate and work in interdisciplinary and international teams. You thrive in multicultural environments.

You are best equipped for this task if you have:

  • A university / university of applied sciences degree in electrical engineering, microelectronics, physics or comparable
  • At least 8 + years of relevant professional experience in marketing and sales management in an international environment, ideally with semiconductor experience
  • A thorough understanding of targeted markets esp. within power and motor drives applications
  • A proven track record in tactical product and/or strategic marketing for discretes or commodity products
  • A strong team player with high energy level and excellent international networking skills
  • Fluent English skills (German skills as a plus), including the ability to negotiate, present and report in a convincing manner

This position is subject to the collective agreement for workers and employees in the electrical and electronics industry, employment group J ( The monthly salary is paid 14 times p.a. A higher payment is negotiable depending on your expertise and skills. Furthermore, Infineon offers additional employee benefits.

The open position is in the Business Line DCDC, No. 1 in Discrete Standard MOSFETS 21% market share, which focuses on OptiMOS(tm) in highly efficient solutions for power generation (e.g. solar microinverter), power supply (e.g. server and telecom) and power consumption (e.g. electric vehicle).
