Job description

In your new role you will:

  • Be responsible for the PCB design (schematic drawing, component placement, signal routing and fabrication data generation)
  • Interface with board-fabrication and assembling vendor
  • Work with hardware engineers, PCB designers and fabricators for development and sustaining of actual products
  • Provide ongoing library support engaging with external and internal library groups
  • Keep up with and know industry standards and technologies

Profile

You are a highly motivated self-starter with strong organizational skills. You have excellent verbal and written communication skills.

You are best equipped for this task if you have:

  • A university / university of applied sciences degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics or comparable
  • 5 years of Computer-aided Design (CAD) or Printed Circuit Board (PCB) design experience
  • Experienced with state of the art PCB design tools and methodology (Cadence Concept HDL, Cadence Allegro PCB Editor and Altium Designer)
  • Knowledge in EDA (electronic design automation) tool environment setup, especially Cadence Tools in Linux environment; Allegro SKILL scripting
  • Proficiency with high-speed board designs or layouts
  • Experience with high density ball-grid array's (BGA), blind and buried via's
  • Familiarity with all phases of hardware development including: schematic entry, manually generated constraints, requirements of the constraints and board layout
  • Fluent English skills with German skills as a plus

We are looking to fill this position through one of our partners. A valid Austrian work permit is a prerequisite. Our partner offers a payment of 3171,23 EUR (gross) per month (14 times p.a.) according to the collective agreement for workers and employees in the electrical and electronics industry. A higher payment is negotiable depending on your expertise and skills. Furthermore, Infineon offers additional employee benefits.
