cargo-partner is looking for an experienced HR Director who will play an essential role in the development of our Corporate Headquarters to a highly efficient, professional and innovative driving force of the entire cargo-partner network, fully aligned with our corporate goals and values. You will act as true strategic business partner to the top management of the Headquarters ensuring we have the right equilibrium between the Corporate matrix functions enabling the creation of holistic solutions and concepts for the entire cargo-partner organization.

Your main tasks:

    • Responsibility for the full employee life cycle in the company, ensuring we provide best in class employee experience,
    • Attracting top talents and professionals for the cargo-partner Headquarters,
    • Ensuring and enabling top performance of the HQ staff,
    • HR development, career path projections, training, learning and development,
    • Challenging the department heads on the cost-return ratio of their departments,
    • Developing strategies and alternatives for outsourcing, offshoring or nearshoring of functions or services,
    • Supporting and guiding managers in coaching and developing employees and in other HR tasks, including HR budget spend and cost control,
    • Close interaction with regional and country HR Managers to ensure talent flow into as well as out of the HQ into the cargo-partner organization,
    • Supporting and developing impactful HR strategies,
    • Maintaining management guidelines by preparing, updating, and recommending human resource policies and procedures,
    • Administration and execution of corporate HR guidelines and structures using corporate tools and HR files,
    • Working closely with all departments, assisting line managers to understand and implement policies, procedures,
    • Driving the HR marketing and employer branding, developing cargo-partner into an Employer of Choice,
    • Involvement in corporate HR projects as per demand and capacity,
    • Establishing contacts and network within the industry,
    • Setting department and personal targets on regular basis assuring the group target setting system is followed within HQ,
    • Ensuring legal and internal compliance in HR at all times.

We expect:

    • Degree in Human Resources, Law or Business Management
    • Minimum 7 years of proven experience in HR management function
    • Fluent in German and English language
    • Excellent knowledge of labour law and regulations
    • Strong IT affinity
    • Understanding the complexity of the headquarter functions
    • Strong business acumen and understanding of numbers
    • Natural understanding of human behaviour and good assessment of people
    • Leadership and negotiation skills
    • Strong in implementation
    • Organized, structured and assertive person
    • Ability to see the bigger picture
    • Diligent with high ethical standards
