Business Analyst (m/f/d) - EMEA


Sportradar, the global leader in understanding and leveraging the power of sports data and digital content, is seeking an enthusiastic, independent, proactive analysis lover to join the Global Sales Operations team. The European Sales Business Analyst will be responsible for providing meaningful qualitative and quantitative research and insights to the European Sales Business Team. Maintaining internal data quality as well as monitoring external market trends, form the basis of the value-adding analysis for the direct stakeholders. The role requires the successful candidate to establish a good understanding of the regional nuances in the European region and closely collaborate with the Sales colleagues to support them. This role is reporting to the Head of the Sales Business Analyst team.


  • Be the main point of contact and resource for analysis within the European Betting Sales Team
  • Ensure a high-level data quality standard is followed related to internal sales data within our databases and CRM in regards to the European Sales region
  • Develop and maintain a stable and sustainable price within the region “ supporting the team with driving pricing initiatives
  • Develop and define business development and revenue strategies for exploring new business opportunities together with the Regional Sales Director and Global Sales Operations
  • Utilize existing data (internal and external dataset) to provide analysis of key drivers and KPIs in the region. Highlight positive and negative trends, and opportunities concerning sales and regional KPIs
  • Support the European Sales Team with monitoring contracts that are due to be renewed, as well new deals in the pipeline. Perform analysis highlighting upsell potentials, or other commercial upgrades before the final deal is pitched
  • Proactively manage revenue assurance within the region. Ensuring alignment and governance across activation, contracts, and invoicing
  • Prepare ad hoc reports and analysis to assist Sales and management as required within the European region


  • Minimum of 4 years of work experience
  • University degree (BSc or higher) with an analytical business administration or database management background
  • Understanding of databases and IT processes
  • Self-motivation and commitment to drive accurate and high-quality work
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure
  • Excellent analytical skills and the ability to develop processes and methodologies
  • Experience with working with a CRM system (ideally Salesforce) is a plus
  • A team player with strong communication skills and a flexible and positive attitude
  • Good knowledge of the sports betting and sports media industries

For this position, we offer an attractive salary in line with the market. For legal reasons, we are obligated to state the minimum salary of EUR 31,244 gross/year according to the CBA. However, you can expect a salary starting from EUR 45,000 gross/year if you meet our requirements (based on full-time employment). Depending on your qualifications and experience, an overpayment can be offered.
