Group Accounting Professional (m/f)

Job Summary

    The Group Accounting Professional is the interface between our subsidiary banks and internal and external stakeholders on IFRS topics. He/she is responsible for preparing of consolidated financial statements according to the rules of IFRS as well as assisting in IFRS related training for involved employees (Sberbank Austria and subsidiaries). He/she takes care of follow-up topics due to changes in regulations or laws as well as smaller projects related to IFRS and updates relevant IFRS references. He/she is responsible for group reports based on IFRS (FINREP, own funds, NPE, etc.)

Your Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Assists and takes over responsibilities on the preparation of consolidated financial statements according to IFRS
  • Assists in monthly reports
  • Compiles special IFRS issues for the group manual and employee training as well as all relevant guidelines
  • Communicates and reports to Russian HQ
  • Supports in implementation of necessary updates in the reporting systems (IFRS reporting package, FINREP, SAP Finanical Consolidation tool)
  • Participation in IFRS related projects

Your Profile

  • Completed college with focus on Accounting and/or university degree in Business Administration with focus on Accounting
  • At least 3-5 years with banking, finance or industry experience
  • ACCA or Certified Accountant/Certified IFRS Specialist are a plus
  • Clear view on processes, competence to steer and trigger process changes, experience with auditing in Accounting area
  • German and English knowledge is mandatory, Russian or any CEE language skills are advantageous
  • Proficient in MS Office, Accounting tools (e.g. SAP)

Annual Gross salary starting from gross €45.000,- based on our collective bargaining agreement (for 38,5 hours/week) - additional payment according to skills and experience. This position can be filled as soon as possible.
