Your Responsibilities

  • Drive the development of cutting-edge technologies at the forefront of machine learning applications and from an end-to-end-perspective
  • Work closely with our product and design teams to embed machine learning technologies in existing traffic solutions as well as in new areas of application
  • Manage stakeholders including internal product and design teams as well as across different organizations including external partners
  • Lead the design, development, implementation and test of machine learning applications
  • Foster the application of machine learning techniques mainly but not solely in the field of intelligent traffic solutions
  • Develop clean, elegant, well-commented and reusable code which is easy to maintain and extend

Your Profile

  • Masters/PhD degree in computer science, electrical engineering, mathematics, physics, software engineering, or similar
  • Strong theoretical background and practical experience in machine learning, statistics, probability theory, computer vision and image processing are mandatory
  • Domain knowledge in the application of machine learning techniques preferably in intelligent traffic solutions
  • At least 5 years of professional experience in software development and software architectures
  • Expert skills in state-of-the-art machine learning frameworks and approaches including, for instance, TensorFlow and OpenCV
  • Experienced with runtime performance optimization for specific hardware platforms such as embedded systems
  • Computer vision algorithm development with GPUs and other parallel processing structures in mind
  • Experience with iOS, Android, and Linux environments are highly beneficial
  • Familiar with Agile and Scrum development methodologies
  • Ability to assist team members to overcome technical problems
  • Strong analytical problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Ability to actively drive proof of concepts as well as to transform the same into performant applications and products
  • Proactive mindset to drive collaboration between teams in an intercultural and cross-organizational environment

  • For this position a monthly gross salary starting with 3.500 € for applicants with a relevant work experience, willingness to offer a higher salary depending on your professional experience and qualification
