Your Responsibilities:

Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • As the P&O Site Head for Aseptics you will be part of the site Leadership Team #
  • You will be responsible for the leadership and coordination of the Business Partners, Specialists and Shared Services functions for the business unit
  • The role will partner with the Site Head to help craft and translate business plans into a site P&O strategy
  • Work closely with the Site Head and Leadership Team members in the development and implementation of the business plan, highlighting potential P&O-related business opportunities or weaknesses
  • You will ensure that Novartis Technical Operations (NTO) and Novartis-wide programs and policies are aligned with site operations
  • Provide strategic and tactical workforce planning in alignment with the client's business plan and drive/participate in budget planning discussions
  • Proactively apply organizational diagnostic expertise to analyze and identify potential design improvements, providing change management support to transformation and restructuring efforts
  • Ensure adherence to relevant labor and employment law and, when necessary, manage labor relations, including relations with external labor organizations

What you'll bring to the role:

  • Graduate degree in business or management (MBA and/or HR qualifications preferred)
  • 10-15 years' experience as an HR Generalist (ideally with extensive knowledge of Austrian labor and employment law)
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and execute HR strategy
  • Experience with multi-cultural teams, preferably with experience in several countries / sites
  • Fluent in German and English

The base pay is composed of a market oriented excess payment and the respective amount according to the Austrian collective agreement (at least EUR 67,292.12 per year on a full time basis)
