The Category Manager/Business Partner (m-f-d) is responsible for aligning with a defined group of Functional, Category or Divisional stakeholders. They support the development of local, regional & global category strategies by understanding the business needs, challenging demand and transmitting relevant input to the category organization. They implement local, regional and global strategies including the management of key Global suppliers. They build effective relationships with the business ensuring procurement objectives are achieved while business stakeholder satisfaction is kept at the highest level.

Your Responsibilities:

Your responsibilities include, but not limited to:

  • Responsible for aligning with Business & Procurement by building effective relationships with Business stakeholders in relevant functions and divisions
  • Categories within Corporate Spend: Professional Services, HR Services, Contingent Labor, Financial Services, Legal Services
  • Responsible for supporting Regional & Global category strategy development by translating business needs and plans
  • Accountable for a specific productivity target delivery
  • Actively contributes to local budgeting and planning activities together with their local stakeholders
  • Promotes and demonstrates the full value proposition of procurement across their stakeholder community
  • Responsible for the management of supplier relationships as agreed in the supplier segmentation
  • Provides support in term of compliance performance and risk management

Qualification
What you'll bring to the role:

  • BA/MA degree with focus on economy
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in (ideally cross-country) procurement
  • Project management experience
  • Business fluent in German and English (C2 level) essential
  • Very good analytical skills (including MS Excel)

The base pay is composed of a market oriented excess payment and the respective amount according to the Austrian collective agreement (at least EUR 48.718,04 per year on a full time basis)
